As we always strive to offer cutting-edge technology for our guests, we recently partnered with Intelity to install their Interactive Customer Experience (ICE) technology on iPad 2 devices in all 285 guest rooms and suites.
From the privacy of guest rooms or suites, guests can order in-room dining, make restaurant reservations, check in to a flight, request airport transportation, ask valet parking to retrieve their car, research Los Angeles' most well-known cultural and shopping destinations, place housekeeping requests and so much more – all at the touch of a button. Additionally guests can learn about booking weddings and corporate events at the hotel, as well as making future room reservations.
The iPads have been instrumental in further shortening wait time with various requests since the orders are sent directly through to the correct person in a specific department, who can implement the order swiftly. Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has seen 51,000 impressions on the iPads in the week since the installation was finished, and the feedback has been very positive. Our guests are very impressed with the new technology, especially business travelers who prefer to place service orders through the iPad versus calling or meeting with the concierge in person. We can also create personalized messages on the iPads for any guest upon arrival and we have a number of high-end advertisers from local businesses in the area.
