One Year Later

A year after the hotel’s opening, it has reported a number of successes with the Intelity solutions, including:

  • 3,000 guest requests to the front desk through the mobile app
  • 150,000 taps by guests on mobile push notifications

In addition, the most popular request types through the mobile app are:

  • In-room dining
  • General information, such as check-out time

The hotel reports that some of the other popular features available to guests through the in-room iPads are the ability to stream music or read magazines and newspapers. Featuring reading material digitally through the iPads helps the hotel save money on delivering newspapers to each room and provides the benefit to guests of the option to personalize what news appears.
